At the Jewel Starfish Foundation we put great effort in mentoring beneficiaries through various means which range from mentorship sessions to outreach activities.
JSF Girls Ghana

Rick's Institute Graduation
On 25 September 2022, JSF Head Patron & Founder H.E. Vice President Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor attended a graduation ceremony held at the Rick's Institute in Monrovia. The Rick's Institute is host to 13 JSF Scholarship beneficiaries of which 12 were graduating.
Ganta, Nimba County
The Founder & Head Patron H.E. Chief Dr. Jewel Howard- Taylor visited Ganta, Nimba County on 24 September 2022. In her address, Vice President Howard-Taylor called on for more people to play their part in uplifting the girls and emphasized that the girls have potential to achieve their dreams through God.
Beneficiaries Welcoming
JSF Founder & Head Patron H.E. Chief Dr. Jewel Howard- Taylor welcomed new and current beneficiaries in the month of July 2022.
COVID-19 Intervention
During the peak of Covid-19, we reached out to over 50 beneficiaries and provided food parcels, PPE's and sanitary pads. Driven by H.E. Vice President Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor, the initiative was to assist underprivileged girls.
International Women's Day
On 08 March 2021, we celebrated International Women's Day in collaboration with the United Nations International Organization for Migration through a panel discussion which focused on women's empowerment.
2021 First Mentoring Session
Our first Mentoring Session for 2021 was held in Gbarnga, Bong County which was in commemoration of the birth anniversary of JSF Founder Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor. The girls were encouraged to always put God first.
